Extra 200,000 sq m  to be added to GLP Park Lędziny centre
GLP is planning to extend its park in Lędziny near Tychy by an additional 200,000 sq m of warehouse and logistics space. The project also entails the construction of new roads and the creation of new green areas. Currently, GLP Park Lędziny comprises over 110,000 sq m of warehouse and production space. It is situated next to the S1 expressway and 10 minutes from the same road’s junction with the A4 motorway. The building has a clear height of 12m as well as a large number of skylights and additional insulation in the walls. The roofs are designed for the installation of solar panels. The development fulfils the requirements of BREEAM certification for a rating of ‘Very Good’. GLP’s portfolio in the CEE region comprises 64 completed buildings and its tenants include some of the leading names in industries such as e-commerce, FMCG, 3PL and automotives. The company’s developments can be found next to some of the largest urban areas and industrial centres in the region. GLP has been operating in the CEE region for the last three years. Currently it manages almost 2.5 million sq m of buildings in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. The company’s current plans include the extension of the Sziget Logistics Centre II on the outskirts of Budapest by a further 110,000 sq m as well the development of the Bratislava Business Zone next to Bratislava airport where five energy efficient buildings with a combined area of 130,000 sq m are to be built.
