MDC² invests in Gliwice logistics park
MDC² is planning to build a logistics park in Gliwice with three buildings and a total area of 52,000 sq m. The developer has already purchased 13.4 ha and construction work is planned to start in Q3 2021 with completion scheduled for Q2 2022. The development is called MDC² Park Gliwice and will be on ul. Pszczyńska, the city’s main arterial road. The park will benefit from convenient access to the A1 and A4 motorways and access to public transport will be just a walk of a few minutes away. Also, three international airports can be found within a radius of less than 100 km: in Katowice, Kraków and Ostrava. Sustainable development practices are to be followed in the construction of the park and it is to be submitted for a BREEAM New Construction certificate with a rating of ‘Excellent’. The design of the complex includes green spaces near the buildings as well as outdoor sporting facilities for the use of the tenants. Around 95% of the materials used in the construction will be recyclable and the roofs will be prepared for the installation of solar panels. MDC² is a manager and developer of warehouse space. The company was founded in 2021 by Hadley Dean, Jeremy Cordery and Peter Love. The MDC² team comprises 20 people.
