Over 130,000 sq m under construction in Hillwood Rawa Mazowiecka

Construction has begun on the Hillwood Rawa Mazowiecka logistics centre. Hillwood is to develop the project in stages, and it will eventually comprise over 130,000 sq m of modern warehouse space. The first stage of 16,300 sq m is to be delivered in Q1 2022. Child seat producer BabySafe will be the first tenant. The company also redistributes several foreign branded goods including creative toys by Dutch brand SES, Aeromoove anti-sweat mats and AeroSleep a brand of rehabilitation seats by Recaro. The centre is to be built on the site of a former meat packaging plant and the current buildings on the site (including the largest office block in Rawa Mazowiecka) are to be demolished. A few hundred people will be employed in the park and the new warehousing facilities are to meet the highest fire safety standards with fire loads of more than 4000 MJ/sq m. The site will also have 24/7 CCTV surveillance. Buildings constructed on the site may have a height of up to 40m, which means high bay warehouses may be built in the park. The development is 2 km from the Rawa Mazowiecka North junction on the S8 expressway, where it crosses with national road nr 72. The park also benefits from easy access to the A1 and A2 motorways. In the first stage of the development 12,000 sq m remains to be leased. Hillwood will adjust the space to meet the requirements of the tenant and offers additional office and social space.
