Over 33,000 sq m taken by Signify in Piła
The logistics operator for electrical lighting company Signify (formerly known as Philips Lighting) is to take up 33,500 sq m in Panattoni Park Piła. The space is to be handed over to the tenant at the beginning of 2023. The contract means that 90 pct of the total 44,000 sq m eventual build-out area of the park has been leased. The centre is to have Philips Dynalite lighting with motion and daylight sensors installed. Moreover, the system is to store data, such as total energy usage, which can then be represented as a graph. Signify lighting systems are also to be used inside the warehouse building. The building is to have a quick loading system for forklifts as well as solar panelling. The centre is to be certified under BREEAM for a rating of 'Excellent'.
Panattoni Park Piła is being built 5 km from the centre of the town next to National Road nr 10 and National Road nr 11. The park lies just under 100 km from two fast-developing markets in Poznań and Bydgoszcz. The park is to be easily accessible via public transportation.
Panattoni Park Piła is the first centre to be developed by Panattoni on a speculative basis in the area. Previously, the developer built a BTS centre for Thule with an area of 13,500 sq m within the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone.
