Panattoni announces delivery of two centres
Warehouse developer Panattoni has announced that it has completed the development of Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz II. Its tenants include Nissin Logistics, with a lease of 18,300 sqm, and postal services provider InPost which has taken up around 5,000 sqm. The Nissin lease was first announced in November last year, when it was stated that it would use the new space to serve the requirements of a beverage can producer, while the InPost lease was announced a month earlier. The 36,500 sqm centre comprises a single building that has been built within the city limits of Bydgoszcz. The centre is environmentally certified under BREEAM and is located near the Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technological Park just 3 km from the city’s bypass and national road no 80. It is also 9 km from the S10 expressway. With the completion of the S5 expressway in 2022, Bydgoszcz should gain fast road connections to regional cities such as Wrocław, Poznań and Gdańsk. The city already has 411,700 sqm of warehouse and light production space and the development of a further 143,500 sqm is also planned.
Additionally Panattoni has recently announced that it has delivered an 8,260 sqm BTS centre to DSV Solutions. The new centre, which includes eleven docks, is used as a logistics centre for two nearby confectionary factories owned by US multinational Mondelēz. The centre was built between Opole and Wrocław in the village of Skarbimierz and within the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone and operations began at the end of April. The lease includes 225 sqm of office space, while the centre has a non-standard ceiling height of 12m and the load capacity of the floor has been strengthened to 8 tons per sqm.
