Panattoni building in Nowa Wieś Wrocławska
Industrial developer Panattoni has begun construction on a warehouse centre of 18,000 sq m in Nowa Wieś Wrocławska, around 15 km southwest from the centre of Wrocław. Panattoni Park Wrocław S8 South is to be opened in December. An international transport and logistics firm has already signed a lease for 4,600 sq m. The centre is to be certified under BREEAM for a rating of 'Very Good'. The developer is to use systems to reduce the consumption of water heat and electricity and is to use modern insulation for the building. As a result, the building will have a reduced carbon footprint. The office section will have increased access to natural daylight due to its aluminium and glass facade. The development is also to include green zones for the use of those working in the complex. The developer is also planning to install bike shelters and electric vehicle charging stations on the site.  The centre is not only suitable for logistics purposes but also for light production. Panattoni Park Wrocław S8 South is being built next to the Wrocław Południe junction on the A4 motorway where it connects to the S8 expressway. As a result, the centre is well connected to cities such as Katowice and Kraków as well as Wrocław, Warsaw and Łódź. It is also just 13 km from Wrocław airport. Panattoni Park Wrocław S8 South will be Panattoni's 21st development in Lower Silesia. The company claims that at the beginning of the year the total amount of space it had delivered in the region topped over 1 mln sq m.
