Panattoni signs up Tatuum in Łódź
KAN, the owner of Polish fashion label Tatuum, has leased 10 150 sq m at Panattoni Central European Logistics Hub in Łódź. The tenant is to move in in the middle of August and will use the space for a distribution centre to serve Europe. The lease also includes 450 sq m of office space.
With this new lease, the company is consolidating its warehouse space, which should lead to economies of scale and allow for further expansion online.
KAN is a company first established in 1995 in Łódź and it opened its first Tatuum store in the same city in 1999. The Tatuum brand is already present in a number of European countries including Russia, the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Ukraine.
Panattoni Central European Logistics Hub, which is being built by Panattoni, is to be Europe’s largest logistics complex and should eventually have a GLA of 600,000 sq m. It is located within city limits on ul. Jędrzejowska next to the A1 motorway, which runs from the north to the south of the country and is 30 km from the Łódź Północ junction where the A1 and A2 intersect. To date, 370,000 sq m has been completed and a further 40,000 sq m is currently under development. Other tenants that lease space in the centre include Media Expert, BSH Sprzęt Gospodarstwa Domowego and Smyk.
