Panattoni to build park just west of Poznań
Panattoni is planning to construct a 65,000 sq m warehouse park in Tarnowo Podgórne near Poznań. The project is called Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate and is to be completed in March 2022. Work is scheduled to begin in the summer this year. The centre will have 126 loading docks, a large manoeuvring area and 220 parking spaces including 13 for trucks. The building is to be equipped with systems to reduce energy, water and heat usage. Particular attention was paid to the comfort of those working in the centre during the design stage including to the centre's acoustics and the lighting in the office areas as well as the greenery surrounding the centre and its relaxation areas. Additionally, electric vehicle charging points have been planned. The centre is to be one of the few logistics parks in the region to be certified under BREEAM for a rating of 'Excellent'. The park will be suitable for both logistics and light production purposes. The site is near national road 92, 7 km from the Poznań Zachód junction where it joins the S11 expressway, which when completed will link the north of Poland with the south and will run to Koszalin, Bydgoszcz, and Katowice. It takes around a 15-minute drive to reach the A2 motorway which connects to cities such as Warsaw, Łódź, Poznań and Berlin. Panattoni states that on completion of the park, it will have delivered over 1 million sq m of space in and around the Poznań area.
