Panattoni to build warehouse park in Bolesławiec
Panattoni is to build 50,000 sq m of warehouse space in the town of Bolesławiec in Lower Silesia. Work is scheduled to start in October. The building will have a height of 12m and the floor's load capacity will be increased to 7 t/sq m.
The developer is also to ensure that the building has proper access to natural light and that the building has appropriate acoustics and thermal comfort for workers as well as good air quality. The ventilation system will mechanically reduce air pollution. Panattoni is to employ systems to reduce water usage including leak detection systems, rainwater installations and water-saving fittings. The park is to be certified under BREEAM for a rating of 'Excellent'.
This will be Panattoni's 22nd park in Lower Silesia. Panattoni Park Bolesławiec is to be constructed next to the Krzyżowa junction, where the A4 motorway crosses with the A8. The park is around a 30-minute drive from the German border and it takes around 50 minutes to drive to the border with the Czech Republic. Among the companies that have already set up in the area is Amazon, for whom Panattoni built a BTS building in the nearby village of Okmiany.
