THREE WAREHOUSES TO BE BUILT IN MLP POZNAŃ WEST
MLP has begun the development of three warehouse buildings with a combined area of 90,000 sq m in the MLP Poznań West logistics park. The end of the construction work and the handover are scheduled for the third quarter of 2022. The three buildings will have sizes of 20,800 sq m, 22,700 sqm and 47,500 sq m. W.P.I.P. is responsible for the construction work and the company has been MLP's general contractor since construction work first started on the park. Over the 2019-2021 period, a total of 41,000 sq m of buildings were built. All the buildings are to be certified under BREEAM with ratings of 'Excellent'. The installation of solar panels is planned for the roofs. Facilities for cyclists will be available in the park as well as charging stations for electric vehicles and there will also be insect hotels. The developer is to install glazing in the office sections to increase access to natural light. Additionally, a digital Asset Information Model (AIM) is to be created of the buildings to help manage and monitor the building's administrative systems. The MLP Poznań West complex will eventually comprise almost 150,000 sq m of warehouse and office space. The park is in the village of Dąbrówka around 15 km from the centre of Poznań, next to the S11 expressway and 7 km from where the A2 motorway meets the S11.
