US automotive supplier selects Panattoni Park Rzeszów Airport II
US producer of drive train and exhaust system subassemblies BorgWarner has leased 11,300 sq m in the Panattoni Park Rzeszów Airport II logistics complex. Developer Panattoni has already begun construction of the BTS building, which is to be handed over in February 2022. BorgWarner’s lease will include 2,100 sq m of office space. A laboratory is also planned where new products are to be developed and tested. The laboratory area is to have a ventilation system that will be capable of changing the air almost ten times quicker than the norm. Additionally, the ventilation system in the production area will be three times quicker and the temperature is to be maintained at a constant 18 °C. BorgWarner is the first tenant in the park, which is eventually to have an area of 21,800 sq m, of which 19,200 sq m is to be warehousing space with the remainder devoted to offices. The development can be flexibly modified to meet the needs of future tenants both in regard to technical standards and to the division between production, warehouse and office space. The park will include a spacious manoeuvring area, ground-level gates and parking facilities. Panattoni Park Rzeszów Airport II is nearby Rzeszów-Jasionka international airport, and also benefits from ready access to the A4 motorway and the S19 expressway, which is part of a key transport corridor that joins the north and south of Europe.
