White Star Logistics to build logistics and production park in Łódź

White Star Real Estate and Bain Capital Credit are planning to jointly invest in the construction of a logistics and production park in Łódź. The complex is to comprise two buildings with a combined area of 30,000 sq m. The first building has already received the final building permit and earthworks should begin in the next few months. The completion is scheduled for the first half of 2023. The centre is to be BREEAM certified for a rating of at least 'Very Good'. The centre will include rainwater storage for watering plants and electric vehicle charging stations are to be placed next to the buildings. The grounds are also to be managed to maximise biodiversity. The park is on ul. Brzezińska next to a junction on the A1 motorway. It also has easy access to the A2. White Star Logistics is creating a chain of modern logistics centres. Over the next three years, White Star Real Estate in partnership with Bain Capital Credit intend to develop between eight and ten warehouse projects with an eventual gla of 500,000 sq m. For this purpose, EUR 350 million has been budgeted. Bain Capital Credit is a leading international financial organisation with an asset portfolio worth around USD 48 billion. The company invests in a wide range of assets including private equity. public equity and venture capital funds.
