123 Łazienka leases over 10,000 sq m in Blonie
123 Łazienka, one of the largest internet retailers of bathroom fittings in Poland, has leased 10,500 sq m in the P3 Błonie park near Warsaw. Developer P3 has already begun construction work on a 17,600 sq m building with the intention of leasing out the remaining space to another tenant. P3 is to fully tailor the space to the needs of 123 Łazienka and the retailer is to take up 9,900 sq m of warehouse space with a three-level mezzanine. The company will also have 630 sq m for an office as well as a showroom and a pick-up point where customers can collect the goods they order in person. The building is being constructed to BREEAM 'Very Good' certification requirements and is to be insulated with polyurethane core (PU-R) panels. The roof is to be reinforced so that solar panels may be fitted at a later date. The warehouse will have low-energy LED lighting with a DALI control system. The water taps in the washrooms will be activated by infra-red sensors and will include aerators. Greywater is to be reused and the centre is also to include two electric vehicle charging points. Kajima Poland is the general contractor.
Park P3 Błonie is 27 km to the west of Warsaw next to where national road 92 connects to the A2 motorway, which is part of the European E30 transit route. The complex comprises 14 buildings, including temperature-controlled facilities and a data centre.
