7R starts building warehouse park in Bydgoszcz
Industrial developer 7R is has started work on its first centre in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region. 7R Park Bydgoszcz will comprise two buildings with a combined area of 68,700 sq m. The centre has already been partially leased to logistics operator Rohlig Suus Logistics and supermarket chain Stokrotka. The first building is to be completed in May next year while the second is to be ready for Q4 2022. The general contractor is Atlas Ward.
The space in the centre is to meet the specifications of the tenants. The building will have a modern cross-docking terminal and the second building is to have a storage height of 11.7 m with a floor load capacity of 7 tons. The loading area will have additional skylights in the roof to improve access to natural light within the building.
The centre is to be certified under BREEAM. To improve energy efficiency, the investor is to install roof fans so that the hot air at the top of the building flows down to lower levels. The roof and walls are also to be heavily insulated and inside the building, it is to be no colder than 15°C while outdoor temperatures fall to minus 20°C.
7R Park Bydgoszcz is being built on ul. Wojska Polskiego in the south-eastern part of the city. The site has good connections to the city centre as well as to national road connections. Modules of different sizes are available for rent with the smallest being 3,000 sq m.
