BIK constructs second warehouse near Wrocław
Biuro Inwestycji Kapitałowych has begun construction of a 22,500 sq m warehouse in the BIK Park Wrocław industrial complex. This is the second stage of the development with the first stage being a building constructed earlier of 25,000 sq m. As a result of the extension the park will reach its maximum planned size of 47,500 sq m.
The work is scheduled for completion at the end of the year. The building is to comprise modules with a minimum size of 1,750 sq m and they can be joined together to meet the needs of the tenants. The developer intends for the centre to be suitable for the installation of solar panels and electric vehicle charging stations. Additionally, a system to monitor the state of the flat roofing is also to be installed to ensure that it does not become overloaded.
The centre is in the village of Nowa Wieś Wrocławska in the administrative district of Kąta Wrocławska, next to the Pietrzykowice junction of the A4 motorway and is under construction on an 11.7 ha site. The first building was completed in the first quarter of 2020 and the Lower Silesian branch of Dachser occupied around 15,500 sq m shortly after completion. Around 9,000 sq m of vacant space remained but now the building is fully leased.
BIK manages four logistics parks: Centrum Logistyczne Kraków I,
Centrum Logistyczne Kraków II, BIK Park Sosnowiec II and BIK Park Wrocław I. Over 2020 the group had consolidated revenues of PLN 17.3 million and published a net profit of PLN 9.2 million.
