CTP comes to Poland  and teams up with MDC²
Czech warehouse developer CTP has announced that it is planning to enter Poland with the development of three centres under the name of CTParks. Work should begin in the first quarter of this year. The company intends to invest around EUR 200 mln in Poland this year. The first centres are to be built in the Warsaw and Katowice areas. For its entry into Poland, CTP has also entered a strategic partnership with MDC², a company founded this year by Hadley Dean, Jeremy Cordery and Peter Love. MDC² comprises a team of experienced managers who over the last 15 years has been involved in the development of over 3 mln sq m of warehouse space. MDC² has announced that in partnership with CTP Group, it will launch construction work in the third quarter of this year on five projects including in Warsaw, Łódź, Zabrze, Opole and Iłowa. The company has offices in both Warsaw and Katowice. Till now CTP has been active as a logistics park owner and manager in six CEE countries: the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Serbia. It has a portfolio of 6.3 mln sq m with a further 700,000 sq m in the pipeline. By 2023 it intends to add more than 10 million sq m. All CTP buildings are BREEAM certified with ratings of either ‘Very Good’ or ‘Excellent’. The company also plans to be totally carbon neutral by the end of 2021.
