DL Invest to build warehouse for grocery operator
DL Invest Group is to develop a BTS warehouse building of over 34,000 sq m around 50 km west of Warsaw near the village of Teresin for grocery operator Stokrotka. This is to be one of the first buildings to be constructed on a recently acquired site of 26 ha, where eventually a total area of around 100,000 sq m could be offered for lease. The building should be delivered in the first quarter of 2022. The site is 20 km from the A2 motorway near national roads Nr 92 and Nr 50. The E20 railway line also runs nearby. Stokrotka already leases space from DL Invest in Psary Park within the GZM metropolitan area (a part of the Katowice Urban Area). DL Invest is currently constructing Psary Park on a 40-ha site in partnership with logistics operator DHL Supply Chain and the complex will eventually have a leasable area of 200,000 sq m. For this development DL Invest is acting as the project manager and the general contractor. DL Invest Group has recently completed BTS projects for InPost, Hutchinson and GTX Hanex Plastic. The company currently has a portfolio of around 2 million sq m. The Stokrotka chain has been operating since 1996 and currently numbers over 600 stores in Poland.
