ELI to build 50,000 sq m park near Warsaw
European Logistics Investment (ELI) is planning to build the Park Warsaw West X warehouse park in Błonie near Warsaw. The company has already acquired a 4.86 ha site and the project is scheduled for completion in Q2 2022. As part of the development, 1,700 sq m of offices are to be built with the remaining space planned to be devoted to warehousing. The park will include parking spaces for 238 cars and 14 trucks. Additionally, the centre will have an ESFR fire suppression system, 88 loading platforms and 24-hour security. The centre is to be developed by ELI's strategic partner Panattoni. Park Warsaw West X is to be certified under BREEAM for a rating of 'Excellent' and will have systems installed to reduce electricity, heat and water usage. The building is also to have significantly reduced CO2 emissions. The park's tenants will be able to make use of a relaxation area, bicycle storage and electric vehicle charging stations. The centre benefits from being near the A2 motorway, which joins Warsaw with cities such as Berlin and Poznań. The location is a 35-minute drive to the centre of Warsaw, which should prove extremely convenient for companies wishing to distribute goods throughout the city and its surrounding area. Not far near Baranów, the construction of the New Central Polish Airport communication hub has been planned. However, the location already benefits from its proximity to Warsaw's two existing international airports: Warsaw's Chopin Airport in Okęcie and Warsaw's Modlin Airport.
