Expeditors Polska becomes new tenant of GLP Park Lędziny

TSL operator Expeditors Polska has leased 7,000 sq m in GLP Park in Lędziny. The tenant is to use a high-storage warehousing facility served by vehicles operating on an induction track. Temperature-controlled zones are also planned. Expeditors Polska is the Polish subsidiary of Expeditors, which is based in Seattle. It is one of the leading logistics operators in the world and operates in 103 countries across six continents including Poland, where it has been since 2005. It specialises in international shipping, customs services, warehousing and distribution and organising bespoke transportation. GLP Park Lędziny comprises over 110,000 sq m of warehouse and production space. The park is located next to the S1 expressway, 10 minutes from where it crosses the A4 motorway. The project has been constructed to comply with the GLP Design Standard and has a clearance height of 12 m, an increased number of skylights and improved building insulation. Moreover, GLP Design Standard buildings are submitted for BREEAM certification for a rating of ‘Very Good’ and are designed for solar panels to be mounted on the roof.
