Finnish firm stays on in Diamond Business Park Stryków
Scandinavian paper and packaging producer Pyroll has extended its lease in the Diamond Business Park Stryków warehouse and industrial complex not far from Łódź. The contract is for 13,000 sq m of warehousing space and the tenant is now to stay in the building for another five years. Pyroll is one of the leading producers and distributors of paper and cardboard in Scandinavia and the company employs around 600 people. Its clients include printing houses and publishers as well as packaging companies throughout Europe. The first stage of Diamond Business Park Stryków comprises 38,400 sq m of warehouse and production space and the smallest leasing unit starts from 1,200 sq m. In the second stage of the development, a further 54,000 sq m is planned in four buildings. The hall is constructed to make it possible to use various storage systems. Unique production lines can also be laid out and the space is also suitable for various logistics operations including picking and packing. The centre is in the village of Dobra near Stryków next to national road 71 and around 15 km from Łódź. One of the advantages of the centre is its ready access to the Łódź Północ junction (formerly known as Stryków I), where the A1 motorway (Gdańsk-Katowice) and the A2 (Poznań-Łódź-Warsaw) cross. The Diamond Business Park brand is a chain of warehouse and industrial parks owned by White Star Real Estate. Currently, in Poland, six such parks have been established with a combined area of 250,000 sq m. The other centres are in Gliwice, Piaseczno, Raszyn, Ursus and Łódź.
