Fresh Logistics opens centres in two more locations
Fresh Logistics, which is part of the Raben group, has announced the completion of two warehouse buildings, one in Wojanów near Gdańsk and the other in Nowa Wieś Wrocławska near Wrocław. The two buildings have a combined area of 16,000 sqm. The centre in Wojanów has over 7,400 sqm of high storage space and a 2,900 sqm cross dock area. The space is divided into four areas, each held at a different constant temperature ranging from 0°C to 15°C. The centre uses a low-energy refrigeration unit that makes use of only a small amount of ammonia and glycerol. The extracted heat is used in the ventilation system, and it is all monitored and controlled digitally. The other building has been built within Prologis Park Wrocław V near the A4 motorway junction with the S8 expressway. This high storage warehouse is kept refrigerated between 0°C and 6°C, while one room of 400 sqm is used as a deep freeze. The company also has dry storage for foodstuffs that do not require cold storage. Both centres will provide additional services to storage including co-packing and labelling. With the construction of these two buildings the company now has 55,000 sqm of warehousing space at its disposal suitable for storing foodstuffs under temperature-controlled conditions.
