Frisco.pl enters 7R City Flex Gdańsk II

Polish online grocer Frisco.pl has leased 3,245 sq m of warehouse space as well as 350 sq m of offices in the 7R City Flex Gdańsk II. The 11,000 sqm building is constructed to meet 7R's environment-friendly standards and includes numerous energy-saving systems so that it meets BREEAM certification requirements. The unloading areas are lit with natural light and the design incorporates destratifiers so that heat does not accumulate at the top of the building but is brought down to lower levels. According to 7R's figures, using energy-saving solutions on a 20,000 sq m building can lower energy usage by as much as 50 pct. The available space can be arranged not only to meet the needs of warehousing but also for light production and service purposes. The centre is next to the TriCity bypass around 10 km from the centre of Gdańsk and around 30 km from the centre of Gdynia. Frisco.pl is Poland's largest pure online grocer. It supplies around 120,000 households with a wide range of household products. The company started operating in 2006.
