GLP to complete development of warehouse project in Kobyłka
Construction of the GLP Warsaw III Logistics Centre is coming to an end. The 35,500 sq m building is in the town of Kobyłka near Warsaw. The centre has a height of 12m and features many sustainable development solutions. The roof has an increased number of skylights to give access to natural light in the docking area and a DALI system controls the lighting. The car park includes several electric vehicle charging stations and insect hotels have been placed around the site to increase the area's biodiversity. GLP Warsaw III Logistics Centre is already partially commercialised, and leases have already been signed with Sanico and Mateus. The building still has space available for rent, which has been divided into appropriately-sized units and is ready to be occupied by future tenants. GLP Warsaw III Logistics Centre is next to the Kobyłka junction on the S8, which goes on to meet the A2 motorway (around 30 km away). The centre is around 25 km from the centre of Warsaw. This is not the only project under development in the Warsaw area by the developer. The Warsaw V Logistics Centre in Natolin is under construction next to the Grodzisk Mazowiecki junction on the A2 motorway. GLP holds a European portfolio of around 5.6 million sq m. Its customers include companies such as Amazon, DHL and XPO Logistics. GLP Europe also has a landbank on which it can build a further 4 million sq m of logistics and warehousing space.
