Hillwood to build 100,000 sq m park in Łódź
Hillwood has started construction work on a logistics centre on ul. Pabianicka in the Górna district of Łódź. The building with an eventual size of 97,000 sq m is just 8 km south of the centre of the city. As part of the project, the developer is also to build a road connecting the centre to the Henryk Pietrzak roundabout and national road nr 14 and it will include sidewalks and lighting. The complex is under construction just next to national road nr 14 not far from the Port Łódź retail centre. The location has excellent access to the S14 expressway, which makes up the western section of the Łódź and Pabianic bypass as well as to the A1 and A2 motorways. The centre benefits from its ease of access to the city's public transportation system being nearby the Chocianowice tram terminal. Currently, the building is under construction and it will have a height of 12m, a dust-free floor with a load capacity of 8 t/ sq m and a sprinkler system. The project has been submitted for BREEAM certification for a rating of 'Excellent' kw. The park is also to have 24h security, CCTV surveillance and a large parking area.
