MLP to build in Gorzów Wielkopolski
MLP Group is planning to build the MLP Gorzów Wielkopolski logistics park. The class A warehouses will eventually have a leasable area of 52,000 sqm on ul. Spiżowa in the western part of Gorzów. The centre is to be located 900m from the nearest junction of the S3 expressway and 9km from the centre of the city. MLP has already purchased the 12 ha site on which the centre is to be built. The centre is intended for use by tenants involved in e-commerce, logistics and distribution as well as light production. Construction work is planned to begin in the first or the second quarter of 2022 and the first stage of the park should be handed over in the third quarter that year. The office section is to be glazed to improve working conditions and access to natural light. An Interact Industry lighting management system is to be installed to reduce electricity usage as well as operating costs. The centre is to be BREEAM certified. The location benefits from being close to the border with Germany (53 km) and just 135 km from Berlin. The park will also have convenient access to cities such as Szczecin (111 km), Poznań (165 km) and Zielona Góra (113 km). The park is also 463 km from Warsaw. The centre will be served by city bus routes with a bus stop close to the complex. This will be MLP's first project in the Lubuskie region.
