Modernisation begins on City Point Targówek
Work has begun on the City Point Targówek logistics park owned by a joint venture of Partners Group and Peakside Capital Advisors. On completion, the centre will comprise almost 100,000 sq m of modern warehouse and office space. The first building is to be handed over to the tenants in Q3 2023.
According to the investor, the construction work is to comply with the highest ESG standards with materials to be reused after demolition work. The newly constructed building is to be certified under BREEAM for a rating of ‘Excellent’ as well as under LEED for a rating of ‘Gold’. The installation of solar panels and electric vehicle charging stations has also been planned for the park. Additionally, bicycle shelters are to be built as well as insect hotels. The park is also to be connected to the city heating pipe network.
The park benefits from a location that is not far from the centre of Warsaw. It comprises both small and large small business unit modules as well as space tailored to the needs of individual clients. Additionally, the park has space for light production facilities as well as offices. Being so close to the centre of Warsaw, the park is attractive to both e-commerce operators and courier companies.
The investors are planning for the modernisation work to not disrupt the normal operations in the park. This is to be achieved by gradually relocating the tenants to the new buildings.
The park is part of a logistics portfolio purchased by the joint venture of Partners Group and Peakside Capital Advisors and the portfolio also includes Logistics Point Raszyn and Logistics Point Piaseczno.
