No Limit in 7R Park Sosnowiec
7R is building almost 5,000 sqm of BTS warehousing space for logistics provider No Limit. The development is part of the 7R Park complex in Sosnowiec. The lease also includes 430 sqm of office space on two floors. The new centre will be ready for use in September this year. It is also to be the first 7R warehousing facility built in accordance with the company’s new 7R Eco Green concept, which the company first announced in January this year.
The roof of the building is to be reinforced to support solar panels, the façade is to be covered with greenery and the centre will also include electric car charging stations. The space will also include eleven docks and twelve courier gates, including a semi-cross dock system with L-system courier gates. The architectural design was by Kwadrat Polska and Atlas Ward, while Atlas Ward is the general contractor.
Work on 7R Park Sosnowiec began in the middle of last year and the centre comprises a complex of three modern A-class buildings within the Katowice Urban Area. The park is next to the S1 expressway and only a few kilometres from the A4 motorway. It is also 8 km from the centre of Sosnowiec, 15 km from the centre of Katowice and 32 km from Katowice Airport. The three buildings in the park have a total leasable area of 22,600 sqm and are to be environmentally certified under BREEAM.
7R is a Polish warehouse developer that has been active on the market since 2009. Since that time the company has developed a leasable area of 400,000 sqm and it currently has plans to develop a further 700,000 sqm.
