Panattoni building 87,000 sq m for TEDi
Warehouse developer Panattoni is building a BTS centre in Stargard in Western Pomerania for German discount retailer TEDi. The construction work should be completed in October 2022 with the development intended to support the chain’s growth in Poland. The new building is to be used to store the full range of goods sold int TEDi outlets including products for everyday use, cosmetics, toiletries, household products, pet food, decorative accessories and office supplies. TEDi is a chain with 2,500 stores across Europe, which includes 137 in Poland. The chain is developing very rapidly. By the end of 2022 the TEDi plans to double the size of its chain, which will then number over 200 stores. The centre is near the developer’s Panattoni Park Stargard complex not far from the S10 expressway, which links the centre to the Szczecin-Świnoujście seaports as well as to Warsaw (583 km). The A6 motorway is 34 km away, which later becomes the A11 motorway in Germany connecting Szczecin and Berlin and forms part of the international E28 route, which runs on to Russia (Kaliningrad), Lithuania and Belarus. The centre also benefits from the proximity of the S3 expressway, which runs from the coast to the Czech Republic in the South and comprises part of the E65 international route, which joins Sweden with southern Europe. The development is just 45 km from the centre of Szczecin
