Panattoni completes another warehouse for Media Expert

Media Expert has been granted early access to an 80,000 sq m warehouse in the Central European Logistics Hub in Łódź. The developer, Panattoni, is to hand over the completed centre later this February. The construction work began in May 2021. This is the third building that Panattoni has built for Media Expert in the Łódź warehouse park. The building is to be connected to the other two via conveyor belts for moving goods. The centre is to be a centralised location to serve its distribution chain, which comprises over 520 electronics stores in 430 towns and cities. Altogether, Media Expert leases 300,000 sq m from Panattoni in Central Poland. As well as the three buildings in the Central European Logistics Hub the chain also has buildings in Panattoni Park Łódź East as well as Panattoni Business Center Łódź III. The company has also recently leased 23,000 sqm in Panattoni Park Stryków III. Eventually, the Central European Logistics Hub will comprise over 720,000 sq m but on completion of the three buildings for Media Expert, the park will have a total area of 550,000 sq m. The largest tenants in the park include BSH Sprzęt Gospodarstwa Domowego and SMYK. The Central European Logistics Hub is situated on the edge of the city on ul. Jędrzejowska and is not far from the A1, the only motorway in Poland to run from north to south. The Hub is also only 30 km from the Łódź Północ junction where the A1 crosses with the A2 motorway.
