Panattoni  plans development near Warsaw
Panattoni is planning to build the Panattoni Park Warsaw South III Piaseczno warehouse park. The developer has already purchased 4 ha of land on ul. Żwirowa in the village of Wilcza Góra, which is part of the Piaseczno administrative district near Warsaw. The development is to comprise 20,000 sq m and construction work is to start within the next few months. Panattoni intends for the park to be certified under BREEAM with a rating of ‘Excellent’ and it will feature watertight sanitation fittings, daylight sensors for the exterior lighting, and an intelligent energy management system. The developer is to plant trees, shrubs and flower meadows. Benches made from ecologically-friendly materials are to be placed around the site as well as shelters for invertebrates, insects, birds and amphibians. The centre is to include extensive cycling facilities while the car park will include spaces for car sharing and electric vehicle charging stations. The centre is also to include a system to automatically read vehicle registration plates as well as an ESFR sprinkler system that complies with the NFPA international standards and guidelines. Panattoni has already completed over 2 million sq m of industrial space in the Warsaw region. Additionally, the developer has signed two large contracts to develop space near Radzymin including 50,000 sq m for Poczta Polska [the Polish Post Office] and 30,000 sq m for ESA Logistika.
