Panattoni starts construction of park in Błonie
Warehouse developer Panattoni has started construction of its Panattoni Park Błonie III park near the planned Central Communication Port. The centre is to comprise three buildings with a combined area of 91,000 sq m.
International transport and logistics company GTFL is the first tenant and will occupy 7,700 sq m, of which 7,500 sq m will be warehousing space. Currently, the company uses separate office and warehouse locations in Błonie and Grodzisk Mazowiecki, but GTFL has taken the decision to consolidate its operations by leasing space in a single place in the new A-class Panattoni Park Błonie warehouse centre.
GTFL works with numerous companies across Europe including the largest importer of fruit and vegetables in Poland.
The Warsaw market is one of the most important for Panattoni's operations and, on completion of Panattoni Park Błonie, the company will have delivered over 1 million sq m throughout the region. As well as logistics developments and built to suit facilities, the company has already delivered over 150,000 sq m in Warsaw alone in the form of last-mile logistics centres. One of the advantages of Warsaw's location is that it is located at the junction of three out of the ten trans-European transport corridors. (Helsinki – Warsaw, Berlin – Moscow, and Gdańsk – Ostrava).
Panattoni Park Błonie III is being built next to national road nr 92 around 30-minute drive from Warsaw and Warsaw Chopin Airport.
