Panattoni to build 200,000 sq m in Wrocław
Panattoni is building what will be its largest logistics park near Wrocław. The Campus Wrocław 39 complex will comprise five buildings with a combined area of 200,000 sq m with the space being suitable for both light production and warehousing purposes. The park is also to have around 14,000 sq m of offices. The first 80,000 sq m is to be delivered in September this year and currently a total of 160,000 sq m is under construction.
Two tenants have already signed leases for space in the centre. An e-commerce company with operations in a number of European countries is to take up 78,000 sq m, while a further 6,000 sq m of cross-docking space has been leased by a logistics operator.
Campus 39 is being constructed near Amazon’s warehouses as well as those of LG. The project is to be certified under BREEAM for a rating of ‘Excellent’ and the buildings are to be equipped with systems to limit water, heat and energy usage as well as to reduce CO2 emissions. Workers on the site are to have access to a green relaxation zone and the park will also include electric vehicle charging points, bike paths and other cycling facilities.
The site benefits from being close to the A4 motorway, which provides access not only to upper Silesia but also to Kraków, Berlin and Ukraine. The S8 expressway is also nearby, which links the complex to Warsaw, Łódź and the Czech Republic. Wrocław Airport is also just a 15-minute drive away.
