Segro to expand near Poznań
Segro has purchased a site of just under 7 ha next to Segro Logistics Park Poznań, Komorniki. The additional land will allow for the park to be extended by around 28,000 sqm to 210,000 sqm of warehouse and light production space. Segro is soon to start the development of 11,350 sqm in the first stage of the construction and has already signed two leases for the future space. The developer has also announced that one of the tenants is Arjo Polska, which will occupy over 7,700 sqm of warehousing space in the new building. Arjo Polska, which is a supplier of specialist medical equipment, already leases over 20,000 sqm in the same park. Similar to Segro's other properties, the new space is to be environmentally sustainable and certified under BREEAM.
