Spread Group relocates Legnica centre to Panattoni Park
Spread Group, a company that specialises in printing on clothes and other items, has taken up 10,600 sq m in Panattoni Park Legnica at ul. Spółdzielczej 10. The new building, which includes production and warehouse space, is to be the company’s European central warehouse. For the last 13 years the company has been based in the north of the city, where it had space for 4,500 pallets. In the new building the company now has enough space for double that number. Moreover, the building has a single storey for the warehouse and production space, which is important for optimising logistics operations. As well as machinery for dye sublimation printing, printing on plastic and for printing posters and labels, the latest direct digital printers have also been installed in the building. Soon, newly designed machinery for printing on polyester is to be installed as well as machinery for weaving cloth. The company also chose the location because of its attraction to the potential new employees it wishes to hire including seasonal workers and qualified professionals. Currently, the company employs over 200 people in Legnica. The centre in Legnica is one of five production centres owned by the group. The tenant also has other facilities in Poland, the Czech Republic and in Germany. In 2020, the group produced 9.8 million prints. Panattoni Park Legnica comprises three buildings with a combined leasable area of almost 90,000 sq m. The centre is near the S3 expressway as well as the A4 motorway. The centre is 95 km from the German border and 65 km from the border with the Czech Republic.
