SAVILLS ADVISES POLISH LOGISTICS SERVICE PROVIDER ON RELOCATION

Polish logistics service provider Emka has chosen 7R City Flex Warsaw Airport I for its new headquarters. Real estate advisory firm Savills advised on the lease of 3,450 sq m of warehouse and office space. Emka provides warehousing and transport services, comprehensive logistics solutions for e-retailers, as well as logistics of marketing materials and loyalty programmes. The new warehouse will have a special picking zone with access to natural light and additional infrared heating to ensure the right temperature in the space where products are prepared for the company’s clients. The tenant is planning to move in in mid-2021. “Emka is a rapidly growing local logistics service provider whom we had the pleasure of supporting during their new phase of busines development. The company will relocate to a modern class A warehouse which will provide a more comfortable working environment and help improve operational efficiency,” says Maciej Gierak, Business Development Manager, Industrial Agency, Savills. “7R perfectly fulfilled the tenant’s requirements by making customised technical improvements to the space where Emka will provide value added services, picking and co-packing, which will further enhance the company’s service quality,” says Ewa Ciołek, Consultant, Industrial Agency, Savills. 7R City Flex Warsaw Airport I is a modern industrial park in the Włochy district, just under 10 km to the south-west of the centre of Warsaw and 5 km from Chopin Airport. It is being developed by 7R and will consist of three buildings with a total area of close to 14,000 sq m.
