Panattoni leases out 82,000 sq m in Poznań
Warehouse developer Panattoni is to build an 82,000 sq m centre in Poznań for the e-commerce operations of a leading clothing supplier. Construction work is to begin at the end of 2022/ the beginning of 2023. The new centre is to serve the markets of a number of European countries. The building is also to include 6,000 sq m of office space on three floors and a high bay area. Solar panels are to be installed on the roof, which is to have a large number of skylights to illuminate the working areas. The building is also to be controlled by a BMS (Building Management System). Inside is also to be a special area for photographing the goods. The centre will meet high sustainability standards and is to be certified under BREEAM for a rating of ‘Outstanding’. PVC is not to be used in the construction except for the underground installations. A rainwater collection system is also to be created for the flushing of the toilets and watering of the lawns. The centre will also have an exceptional number of wellbeing facilities for the workers. The centre is to include an outdoor gym, a netball court, a boules lawn, a terrace and cycling facilities. The office space will have a drinking water installation.
