Ice cube producer takes 3,500 sq m in MLP Pruszków II
Pure Ice, the largest Polish producer and distributor of ice cubes, has leased over 3,500 sq m in the MLP Pruszków II complex. The lease includes almost 3,300 sq m of industrial and storage space with the remainder to be used as offices and for social purposes. Construction work is to start at the beginning of December and the handover is planned for June 2021. The new building is to be constructed to the specifications of the tenant.
Pure Ice is a company that has been operating since the end of 2010 and in 2016 it started exporting to Europe, while also extending its product range. It produces ice cubes after filtering its source water multiple times, for which it has an IFS Food safety rating. Every year the rating is renewed by TŰV Rheinland. The company mainly supplies the largest distributors of frozen foods in Poland.
MLP Pruszków II is in the Brwinów administrative district near Warsaw and currently comprises 200,000 sq m gla, which should eventually rise to 309,000 sq m at full build out. The complex lies between national road nr 760 and the A2 motorway on its southern side. The Pruszków-Żbików junction is just 3 km away. The buildings have a ceiling height of 10m and their flooring has a maximum load capacity of 4-5 t per sq m. Moreover, two of the buildings (B4 and B3) also have their own railway sidings.
